• #IMatter is an intersectional solidarity campaign connecting women and girls living in crisis and post-crisis contexts, to demand that they are seen, heard and recognized for their leadership. The campaign will showcase the power and strength of women and girls from the onset of the crisis - when they are often the first to respond – the periods of social and physical reconstruction, where they continue to take on leadership roles. This campaign will change the terms of the debate so that women are acknowledged leaders and valued as critical humanitarian and peace actors.

• Oxfam and our partners and allies believe that through supporting woman-led organizations and connecting existing women’s rights movements and allies to build critical mass, we will create opportunities to disrupt power and demand that women can live safely, take on leadership roles, influence humanitarian intervention, and challenge policies and practices that stop women from leading. As Oxfam, we will transform our own power and use it to create spaces and resources for others. We will work to ensure that women themselves can speak truth to power and that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to take up leadership opportunities and have access to the resources and mentorship.
